Geyser Pumps

The ability to manage the Return Activated Sludge (RAS) at the proper rate is a critical factor in optimizing the performance of extended aeration wastewater treatment plants.

The Geyser Pump was developed to overcome the deficiencies inherent in traditional airlift pump technologies in RAS applications.

The Geyser Pump is capable of pumping heavy RAS sludge at controllably slow, steady rates. This creates a less agitated clarifier, enabling it to perform its two important functions; thickening the sludge blanket and creating clear supernatant. These conditions assist in the production of effluent that meets permit requirements.

IFM is the exclusive distributor of the Geyser Pump in the Midwest.
