DI Tanks at our McClure facility

IFM's regeneration facility, located in McClure, Ohio, offers you the highest quality D.I. tank regeneration services at competitive pricing.

  • Upon drop off at our facility, your tanks are numbered and logged to follow the life of your resin, tank and manifold assemblies.
  • The resin level in each tank is determined by physical measuring: if the resin volume varies by more than 15% of specifications, you will be notified and given the option to allow us to add the appropriate amount of resin at wholesale rates.
  • Our funnel/in tank regeneration procedure allows us to visually evaluate your resin. With this process, there is no combining of your resin with other resins.
  • This 'in tank' process includes a full 12 pounds per cubic foot of caustic and 24 pounds per cubic foot of acid for the Anion and Cation respectively. This will bring both resins back to their maximum capacity and quality attainable.
  • All tanks are quality rinsed and tested through two sets of monitors that are calibrated regularly. Our staff will tag each tank with date of regeneration, quality of run, and their initials for your assurance.
  • The strong base tanks are rinsed to a minimum of 250,000 to 600,000 OHMS, though 1.2 million OHMS is normal with newer resin. Mized bed tanks are rinsed to 15 Meg OHM unless otherwise specified.
  • We use only R.O. quality (<10PPM) water in our rinse phase so as not to diminish your resins capacity.
  • Finally, the water is evacuated from the tanks to reduce shipping weight and maintain the mixed bed 'mix.'

EDM Resin (used in electronic cutting machines) poses unique hazardous waste considerations because of the toxic heavy metals contained on these resins. IFM can provide manifested regeneration of these resins. IFM uses facilities equipped to handle these wastes so that you can avoid potential liability.

We offer these high quality services to you at truly competitive prices. We are extremely proud of being one of the only 'in tank' regeneration facilities in the region and invite you to visit us on location. Our parent company, Poggemeyer Design Group (one of the top environmental A&E firms in the country) has provided engineering and mechanical resources to make this facility truly "State of the Art." There is a difference in regeneration companies and we set the pace.
