Analytical Services
IFM provides wastewater and water analysis as stand-alone services and as support to our Contract Operations Services of wastewater and water treatment plants.
Some of the testing performed at our Wastewater Laboratory in McClure, Ohio includes:
- Alkalinity
- CBOD/BOD
- Total Suspended Solids
- Total Dissolved Solids
- Total Phosphorus
- % Total Solids
- % Total Volatile Solids
- Ammonia-N
- Total Hardness
- Fecal Coliform
- Microscopic Exams
- Wastewater
- Wastewater Sludges
IFM also coordinates, through subcontracted laboratories, the testing of wastewater samples for Oil & Grease, Nitrate & Nitrite, Low Level Mercury and Metals.
IFM's Wastewater Laboratory is currently participating in Analytical Product Group's DMRQA Study 28 proficiency testing. IFM's laboratory achieved "In Special Recognition" status through its successful completion of DMRQA Study 27 in 2007.
Certified drinking water analysis is performed by accredited laboratories and includes the testing of the following:
- Total Coliform
- Hardness
- pH
- Iron
- Manganese
- Nitrate
- Synthetic Organic Compounds (SOC's)
- Total Organic Carbon (TOC)
- HAA-5
- Lead & Copper
- Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC's)
In addition to the testing listed above, IFM's Licensed Operators and Technicians also are equipped and trained to perform various field tests on-location of wastewater and water treatment systems. These tests include pH, Dissolved Oxygen and Chlorine (free and total) among others.
