Professional Experience

Mr. Horn is the Technical Director for Industrial Fluid Management, Inc. (IFM), a full capacity environmental service company and subsidiary of Poggemeyer Design Group, Inc. With the firs since 1998, he is experienced in many different wastewater treatment applications including lagoons, activated sludge, trickling filters and industrial pretreatment.

Mr. Horn assists many municipalities, industries and pretreatment facilities with optimizing treatment operations through supervision, training, process control and maintenance.

Mr. Horn has successfully utilized biological and chemical treatment appli- cations. He has operated various types of treatment equipment related to solids handling, separation and dewatering (Dissolved Air Flotation Systems, Filter Belt Presses and Chemical Feed Systems). Mr. Horn has operated various membrane treatment systems including Membrane Bioreactor Systems, Ultra Filtration Membrane Systems for reduction and recycling of oily wastewater products and Ultrapure Water systems including reverse osmosis and deionization. He has also been involved in design review and troubleshooting of many different water and wastewater treatment systems and coordinating those efforts with Ohio EPA.

Mr. Horn currently manages and trains other IFM employees in day-to-day operations and following regulatory guidelines. Often, Mr. Horn works directly with Environmental Planning on development and design of new projects.
